Day 2 of our France visit!!!

Bonjour to you all.....

We've had another great day on our visit.

We were woken up very early this morning and got ready for our first full day in France. Mrs Norton said that some of us were easier to wake up than others....but we won't name and shame until we get back.

We couldn't have any breakfast until we had made our sandwiches for lunch....why didn't you teach us to spread butter? We were finding lumps all over in our sandwiches....hopefully we'll be better tomorrow!

We left for Brie at 9.15am and our driver (Donnie) got us there with no problems by 9.45am so that we had plenty time to practise our french and spend some of our hard earned cash! We have bought a few souveniers and some treats for ourselves! We had our lunch in a beautiful park in Brie and then set off on a 45mins journey for De Lis Chocolate Factory.

On arrival at the factory we watched a video about how chocolate is made and then we were very disappointed as they asked us to do some tasting. It's a hard life being a child on a visit to France....what a life!!!

Before heading back home we went shopping in a French supermarket and Miss Fountain set us a little challenge to find the most unusual item.......10 minutes later we were at the checkout with a box of cereal bars called 'Grany Maniacs'....how funny?

We eventually arrived back at the Chateau and we were all excited for our swim and a lovely tea of fish or chicken.

Abbie had a lovely birthday and we all enjoyed helping to eat her birthday cakes (thanks Mrs Little)

We're very excited for Paris tomorrow but we must have an early night as we've got a really early start!!!! We need to be up and ready by 7.30am....oh dear!

Hope you're not missing us too much and not working too hard at school.

We'll be in touch tomorrow.

Au Revoir
