Day 5 - Monet's Garden and homeward bound...

Hi everyone,

Can't believe it is our last day...we got up very, very early, in fact it was still dark when Miss Fountain came in 'singing' good morning! We had to get up and strip our beds so at least we have been practising for when we get home...next time they need changing, we're your girls!

We left for Monet's garden around 7 ish as it was a long drive.....but it was well worth it...it was stunning! We had a look around his house and then had our picture taken with the water lillies on the bridge....the flowers were fab!!!!

We got on the ferry at 5 ish and the crossing was smooth...the journey home was long but most of us managed to sleep after our McDonald's.

Thanks for letting us go, we have had a great time.

Can't wait to see you all

Love and hugs the BB girls x x x x

Day 4 - our Thursday afternoon!!!

Hi to you all again,
We have had a fab time watching the birds of prey show (well most of us anyway....Mrs Norton wasn't too keen.....we didn't know she could scream like that.....)
The birds were huge and they were making them fly so close to us and as you can see they even put some of the smaller ones on our heads......it was great fun!!!
We watched Sister Act on the way there but Miss Fountain was singing all the way through it....don't give up the day job.....we've got Sister Act 2 to watch tomorrow and apparently she likes that one even better and has said we are in for a right treat as she knows all of the words....a treat???? We don't think so....
We had another swim tonight and the tried some snails for tea (if we wanted.....but not many of us did)
We're off to the camp fire in 5 mins and we're going to be toasting marshmallows and learning some camp fire songs....wow!!!
We're looking forward to going to Monet's Garden tomorrow but we need to be up and out by 7.45am....oh no....Miss Fountain is waking us up at 6.30am....
We've packed tonight......our washing is all ready for you when you get back......lovely wet towels from swimming tonight....we asked if the Fountain and Norton salon could dry them for us but unfortunately they only dry hair and not clothes etc....they said that was your job!!!
We'll see you tomorrow.....can't believe the week has been and gone already..
See you soon, love us x x x x

Day 4 - Thursday morning activities.....

Hi everyone.....

We have had a fab morning doing some adventurous activities at the Chateau.....some of us even managed to get right to the top of the climbing wall. We have also done archery, team building games and abseiling...we're shattered!!!!

We're just about to have some lunch and then we're off to Provins to do some 'bird watching'!!! Should be fun!

We'll write tonight and let you know how our afternoon went....

See you soon.... keep the comments coming.....

Donnie the driver

ps...Donnie the bus driver wants you all to know that he managed to get his pish posh coach through the tiny gap in Le Louvre....what a great driver!!!! He was dreading it but we all wanted to see the pyramid at the entrance and he didn't want to let us down!! x x x x

Our fabulous day in Paris!!!!!!!

Day 3 - PARIS!!!! how exciting!!!

Bonjour to you all..... Ca va?

We got up very early this morning and we were 'slightly' more successful with our sandwiches....not so many butter lumps today.

We set off for Paris at 9am and the traffic was terrible but we arrived in time for our 11am reservation at the Eiffel Tower and were extremely excited to find that we were going all the way to the top. A few of us were a little worried about the scary looking lift but it was all worth it when we saw the breath taking views of Paris. We again spent some of our hard earned cash in the Eiffel Tower shops and you are all in for a treat upon our return as we have bought you some lovely presents!

After that Miss Fountain treat us to some hot chocolate, which we drank under the Eiffel Tower and then headed down to the River Seine just in time for our boat trip....it was great. We got to see so many other Parisian sights such as Notre Dame, Le Louvre, Musee D'Orsay plus many more which we will tell you about when we get back!

After the boat trip, Donnie took us on a bus tour around Paris, we got to see the Arc De Triomphe, Champs Elysees and Johnny Depp's apartment.....we were all very impressed as we love Pirates of the Caribbean.

When we arrived back at the Chateau we managed to get an early swimming slot, which was great as it gave us longer to make ourselves look glamorous for the disco tonight. We all showered, washed our hair and then went for a blow dry in Salon Fountain and Norton which has opened on our corridor....it's not too expensive either which is a bonus!!! They're quite good actually so Mrs Thompson might need to watch out...they would make great hairdressers!!!

We had a lovley tea and we are now just about to hit the DISCO!!!! We have been very excited today and practising our moves!!! Miss Fountain and Mrs Norton have been trying to show us some, but we don't want to show ourselves up when there are other children there....we are hoping that they don't come in and show us up!! That's all we would need!

We are all having a fab time and are looking forward to going to Provins tomorrow and to doing some activities in the Centre!!!

Time is flying by.....hope you're not missing us too much
